My name is Mike Whipple. I live in Utah, in the Salt Lake area. I have had my own rabbits, upwards to 100 does. I love raising rabbits, and teaching others about it. I have delt mostly with meat breed rabbits. I believe that they are a great source of quaily food for  individuals. I am not able to have my own rabbits at this time because of personal things that have taken place in the past year. I have done a lot of research on rabbits. In fact, if you would like a good book on rabbits, Rabbit Production is a great book. It is about 400 pages long, but will teach you everything that you want to know about rabbits. Also, Storeys Guide to Rabbits is a good book, it is much smaller. I am also a fan of provident living. Rabbits can provide a great part to a self relient lifestyle. Along with raising rabbits, I also love to build cages and hutches for people. In the meat rabbits industry you have to have an outlet for your rabbits, I provide that as well. I pick up rabbits about every 4 weeks and take them to be processed.
